Subject: Beacon data note

Bill,
In going over the configuration files for the two Beacons datasets, I just
realized that a minor but perhaps significant difference exists.

The minimum blanking distance required by the 1MHz vs the 2MHz sensor is
different. The older 2MHz AQD is ok with 20cm blanking; the newer 1MHz
head wants 40cm blanking (these are the minimums suggested by Nortek.)

We're going to do some testing to see if we can get away w/ 20cm blanking
and 30cm cell sizes on 1MHz for Huntington but for now its an unknown.

We've been going over this Nortek stuff with a fine tooth comb in prep for
the Guza HB study; this will obviously impact the distance from sand level
to the respective cells. Hopefully this doesn't hose you too badly, if at
all
