Matlab: Mac Intel and PPC Installation Instructions

In the Finder, select the Go -> Connect to server menu item and enter:

xenium.ucsd.edu/Software

in the dialog box that pops up. Use your coast email username and password when asked to authenticate.

Once mounted on your desktop, navigate to the

Software -> Matlab -> R2007a -> Mac-PPC-Intel

folder, and double-click on the "InstallForMacOSX" icon.

Click "Continue" at the README prompt, and then read and accept the terms of the License Agreement by selecting "Yes" and "Continue" in the dialog box.

Choose where to install Matlab (the default is usually fine) and click "Continue."

Copy and Paste the text between the:

# BEGIN------cut here------CUT HERE-----BEGIN

and

# END------cut here------CUT HERE-----END

lines from the file:

Software -> Matlab -> R2007a ->license.dat.txt

into the License window when requested, the click "Continue."

At this point, the installer will ask you which toolboxes you want to install. All of those listed are covered in the UCSD Site License. Choose the ones you want and then click "Continue."

That should do it. Once installed, please 'Eject' the "Software" volume from the finder window or the desktop.

If you own a standalone license[s] purchased thorough the SIO group license agreement, let me know and I'll generate a license file for you for each of the machines covered in your agreement.
